1.    Manish Malhotra
One of the most famous and prolific Bollywood fashion designers in India, Manish Malhotra made entry into Bollywood with ‘Gumrah’ in 1993. Known for his precision in design, he has worked mostly for Bollywood actresses that include the likes of Madhuri Dixit, Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, Karisma Kapoor, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukerjee. He has won a number of awards for his impeccable costume works in Bollywood films like Dil To Pagal Hai, Mohabattein and Rangeela. He has a distinction of designing costumes of Michael Jackson when he visited India.

2.    Neeta Lulla    
Neeta Lulla is among the finest Indian fashion designers of Bollywood. She has worked with the best Bollywood actresses of 1990s and 2000s with names like Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Aishwariya Rai and Kareena Kapoor. More lately, she has designed costumes for Bollywood star actresses including Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor. Neeta Lulla has a career span of more than twenty six years. She has some landmark projects under her belt namely Lamhe, Taal, Devdas, Jodha Akbar, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun to name a few.

3.    Rocky S
Rocky S is another prolific Bollywood fashion designer working with Bollywood superstars since 1992. Rocky S is particularly known for his collaboration with Akshay Kumar. They two have worked together in many movies. More recently, they collaborated in ‘Singh is King’ and ‘Khatta Meetha’. Rocky S has worked with many renowned Bollywood actresses, including Bipasha Basu, Shilpa Shetty and Katrina Kaif. This Bollywood fashion designer has been part of some of the major Bollywood projects, for example ‘Gadar’, ‘Krrish’, ‘Omkara’ and ‘Kabh Khushi Kabh Ghum’.

4.    Vikram Phadnis
Vikram Phadnis is another creative hand behind the best dresses of Bollywood celebrities. He is known for his knack to designing pret-a-porter style of clothing. Once a choreographer, he carved his niche in Bollywood after his first stint as costume designer in ‘Hindustani’. Since then, he has worked with many renowned Bollywood celebrities. The list includes Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra and Aishwariya Rai. However, it is Salman Khan whom he has frequently collaborated throughout his career. Some of his best works in Bollywood Hindi films are: Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’, ‘Bhootnath and ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’.

5.    Sabyasachi Mukherjee
One of the most noted Indian fashion designers; Sabyasachi Mukherjee has worked with some of the finest filmmakers of Hindi cinema. He has collaborated with Bollywood filmmakers including Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Yash Chopra and Mani Ratnam. Sabyasachi Mukherjee has won a National Award for his costume designs in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s classic Bollywood film ‘Black’. The fashion designer has worked with the best bodies of B-Town which include Sridevi, Kareena Kapoor, Aishwariya Rai and Rani Mukerjee.
