Katrina Kaif Is Announced the Next Bollywood Celebrity for Madame Tussauds Wax Muesum!

The baby doll of the B-Town Katrina Kaif will be the next Bollywood star in Madame Tussauds. She will be the latest entry in the list of Bollywood celebrities that include Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. The wax statue of the actress will show her in one of her avatars from her popular item songs.

The actress has expressed her happiness on her selection for the honor. “I am extremely excited that Madame Tussauds London will be creating my wax figure” said the actress after hearing the news.

The entry of Katrina Kaif is appreciated all over India where she is revered by millions of fans. After Amitabh Bachchan was the first Bollywood celebrity whose replica was installed in Madame Tussauds in 2000. Since then, there are over half a dozen of Bollywood celebrities who made it to Madam Tussauds museum. Madhuri Dixit was the latest addition in the list of the Bollywood celebrities who earned the coveted place in Madam Tussauds in 2012.
Other notable Indians in Madame Tussauds include politician and freedom-fighter Mohandas Gandhi, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and India’s first female PM Indira Gandhi.

With Katrina Kaif making entry into the list of Bollywood celebrities who made it to Madame Tussauds, let’s take a look at some of the popular Bollywood celebrities at the museum:
Amitabh Bachchan is the first Bollywood celebrity who made it to Madam Tussauds. The shahenshah of Bollywood became the first living Asian and third Indian to be waxed at Madame Tussauds. His replica is inspired from his looks from KBC days. There are currently two wax replicas of Amitabh Bachchan that are installed at London and New York.

Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai is the second Bollywood celebrity and sixth Indian to be bestowed with the honor. Her wax statue was installed in Madame Tussauds museum in 2004 that showed her in one of her signature dance moves. The recent installment of her wax statue is inspired from her looks in Action Replayy.
The King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan is the third Bollywood celebrity to have wax statue at Madame Tussauds. Shahrukh Khan has four wax installments placed at London, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Washington.
Bollywood dabangg khan made it to Madame Tussauds museum in 2007.  With that, he became the fourth Bollywood celebrity to be sculpted at Madame Tussauds. His life-size statue is installed at London and New York. The statues show him in his muscular looks that are typical of the actor.
When a life-size replica of Indian actor Hrithik Roshan was installed in London, he becomes the fifth Indian actor to earn the honor. He currently has two versions of his wax replicas installed at London and Washington.
Kareena Kapoor was immortalized in a wax statue in 2011. She becomes the sixth Bollywood celebrity to earn the privilege. Kareena Kapoor’s wax replica is inspired from her avatars in Jab We Met and Ra.One which are installed at London and New York respectively.
The ‘dhak dhak’ girl of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit got the honor in 2012. She becomes the seventh Indian actor to be waxed at Madame Tussauds museum. The mesmerizing wax avatar is inspired from her looks in reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa”.
